Sometimes it only takes a few millimeters to make a difference. I think this as I look at the gun Paul is pointing at my face. Strange. I'm not looking at the dark barrel that threatens me, or even at his furious expression. I am focused on the trigger and the index finger stroking it. A few millimeters separate me from death, and Paul insists on asking me why I slept with his wife.
